Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which is something very near and dear to us at Springfield. The district is supporting a program called “Kidz in Lids”.
On Wednesday, September 17, we will celebrated this as a school. Many students, families and staff wore yellow and/or a “lid” (hat) to support this cause.
If anyone is inclined to make a donation, there are a couple of options. This is in honor of all of our Springfield Mustangs who have been impacted by childhood cancer.

https://www.alexslemonade.org/ - Not only do they support pediatric cancer research, but they also support families that are in active treatment and need to travel and for other accommodations, such as lodging and travel.
