About Ms. kemp

profile

My name is Allyssa Kemp, and I teach 2nd Grade at Springfield Elementary.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Charleston, and I am so happy to be teaching in this beautiful city.  My hobbies include reading, going to the beach, and cheering on the Gamecocks! Spending time with family is incredibly important to me, and I strive to create a family in the classroom alongside families at home to give students the love, support, and encouragement they need to succeed.  I love helping students grow into the best they can be, and I can't wait to see what they're going to teach me along the way!
