Summer Reading 2025
The Read Around the World program runs from June 1st-August 15th. Log all reading in Beanstack to win prizes! The summer reading program is a collaboration between the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) and Charleston County School District (CCSD).

You can order your supplies ahead of time through 1st Day School Supplies and have them waiting for your child in their classroom in the fall!!

Congrats Mustang Graduates!
Our first ever Springfield Senior Walk was amazing! Graduating seniors came to the school to walk the halls and get cheered on by our students and staff! What a special gift this was!

2025 SES Pet Parade!
We had a PAW-some Third Annual Springfield Pet Parade! Thank you to the Charleston Fire Department and City of Charleston Police Department for starting our parade. We are also excited to share that we raised over $300 for Dusty Tails Animal Rescue! Thank you to everyone for making it an amazing morning!
Please consider making a donation to Dusty Tails Animal Rescue! They are an amazing local rescue that works tirelessly to help pets find their forever homes. You can learn more about them here!
Author Visit!
We had a special guest on campus! Author and illustrator Martha Jaworowski visited with students to share her books Trucks at First Sight and Sports at First Sight. Students were able to buy books and get them autographed.
